Home of smiles and Ukulele Fun Nights. Celebrating George and all things uke.
A splendid Christmas fun concert, thanks to the Group Organisers Simon and Gail, the Concert MC Jon and Organiser Pam, and the wonderful audience. This year’s second highest attendance only topped by the 30 Year Concert night. Refreshments featured Rudolph reindeer cakes which flew off the plates so fast there are no pictures … just a faint jingle in the air. Looking forward to 2025!

Great question! You ignore play and fun at your peril. The last thing I did was play the ukulele (although hours before I was also involved in a festive team quiz). In fact I was playing not just any ukulele but it was my banjolele and I was practising 4 George Formby songs – how on message is that?!

Another great concert, and some great news – Simon and Gail will take over as concert organisers when Colin and Christine step down after the 30th Anniversary of the South Cheshire Branch of the George Formby Society in September.

The concert took place at Jubilee House, in Crewe, and was a great success.

A splendid concert – MANY THANKS to concert organisers Colin and Christine Wood.

A great concert by the Crewe Group, plus visitors from Sale and Buxton

A Great Rehearsal Session – Everyone is welcome. If you would like to learn to play the ukulele, then free tuition is given.

A splendid concert, with a lovely audience that participated in the singing and clapping along.
